ich habe in den letzten Wochen El Monte ein bischen mit Fragen gelöchert.. Durch Zufal kam dann folgendes heraus:
El Monte erlaubt das Befahren von Public Gravel und Dirtroads, aber nicht von Logging und Service Roads. Public Roads sind alle BLM, NP und Indian Roads.
ZitatBLM and NP Roads that are open to the public are fine. I do not know the term “Indian Roads”. Do you mean roads that are located within the territory of a Native American Indian Reservation? If that is what you mean, then “Indian Roads” that are open to the public are fine as well.
Please use caution on all of these road types. Even though we may permit travel on them, you are still responsible for all new damage to the rental vehicle. Due to the nature of these road types, it is much easier to damage the vehicle on them.

Ferner erlaubt El Monte das Towing, wobei das Gewicht auf 3000 Pfund beschränkt ist. Ich wollte ursprünglich mal ein SUV dranhängen, wie die US Bürger. Welche der unterschiedliche Stromanschlüsse dafür notwending ist, richtet sich aber nach Typ und Baujahr. Da man bis zur Übernahme nicht weiß welches WoMo man bekommt läßt es sich nicht Vorfeld organisieren. Sowas läßt sich über U-haul bestellen http://reservations.uhaul.com/resweb02/ under “Moving supplies”; see “Hitches & towing”. Bis C28 kostet es 10$/Tag, Maximum 50$ Gebühr, größere ebenfalls 10$/Tag aber Maximum 100$. Keine Versicherrungsdeckung füe den "Anhänger" und keine Einwehmiete.
