MGM Mirage verkauft seine Primmhotels

  • LAS VEGAS Casino operator MGM Mirage said Tuesday it completed the sale of three hotel-casinos in Primm, Nev., to Herbst Gaming Inc. for $400 million. The deal, announced in November, includes Whiskey Pete's, Primm Valley and Buffalo Bill's. The properties, known collectively as Primm Valley Resorts, include 2,642 rooms, 137,000 square feet of casino space, 2,816 slot machines, 93 gaming tables, three gas stations and a convenience store. Primm, about 40 miles south of Las Vegas, is the first gambling stop for southern California motorists entering Nevada along Interstate 15. The Primm Valley Golf Club is not part of the transaction and will continue to be owned by MGM, but will be managed by Herbst Gaming on behalf of MGM, the world's second-largest gambling company. MGM Mirage shares fell 60 cents to $71.97 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange
